Soon Tournament.

Hi

I though might update this blog, after all this time. I have been busy also to learn some programming conceps - Pascal.

Well anyway I have been analysing on several variations on the Ruy Lopez opening, in fact I also brough Alexei Shirovs DVD "My Best Games: Spanish." It is very good. He gives good explanation, there is tho not much on the Marshall, but anyway.
There is not doubt in my main I'll play this opening at some point, also the Marshall.
But also other variations in the Ruy Lopez opening, actual against bad prepared opponents who use a lot of time to play the moves the Fishing Pole can be used 3.-Nf6 4.0-0 Ng4 5.h3 h5 - this is not forced, but is definetly the most fun to analyse. 6.hxg4 looses.
Well anyway not wanting to spend anymore time to analyse this I would just say that I had a tournament coming up, guess what, yeah North Sea Cup.

Video soon finished.

Hi all.

I'm doing the last checks on a video featuring a game from 1968 ol qual b Den - Ven board 1
Bent Larsen playing the white pieces 1.b3 as a very interesting move, where i think made a huge overlooking in a move some where early in the game, but watch the video to see what i mean.
But i think that the video will be coming in about 2 - 5 days.
And that is all for now.

Experiment

Hi just wandered if i could do this on this site.
To add a video on this site.
I should hopefully workout.

Goddbye.

Video must wait.

Hi.
My first video must wait a little since i have another video i am working on,
which i will do together with Andrew Ooi, writting the script.
So this video which i am doing might come to wait a little bit more than expected.
First of all i also have to choose a game.
And then this video in here might come up after i have done the work with that video.
But i think there is not so much to do with annotating one of the 1.b3 games, if you have any idea about a Bent Larsen game where Bent Larsen played white with 1.b3 please mail me at
mailto:Tobias.Skak@gmail.com (without mailto:)
Any how i think i will do some videos on the 1.b3 since it has been played for a long time, a lot of strong players have played that opening.
Efim Boholjubow for instance.
But i think i will first do a video with Bent Larsen.
If any have some games they should feel welcome to mail me.
I think that where all i had this time.
Goodbye.

Hi the links i posted last time did not really workout, so i think i will try again.
My profile

hopefully it will workout better this time.
Of course you should feel free to post a comment, any constructive critic is appreciated.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Bye

New video (soon i think)

Hi all.

I have got an idea of doing a start up video over a game i played in a club tournament with the most unexpected 1.b3 (i won that game. With a good iniative, and more active moves than my opponent).
He played not very good.
Just that i will first have to do a little research and so.
I hope it will max be a week for this video to be up on this blog (hosted other where, I'll link for it),
of some reasons it will take a wild, i have to go over some games, and write a little bit of a script before i do the capture part.
Until then.
One Video
look at some videos. Or look under my profile for more videos.
My Profile.
But to come back the other video, i will use some games from strong GM's in
in the 60ties and the 70ties i think.
I have games from Bent Larsen "Grande Noire" (not really sure about the spelling)
The Great American Robert James "Bobby" Fischer
Svetozar Gligoric i think i also have a games from.
David Bronstein, one of the top players, but unfortunate he lost his world championship match against Botwinnik (Spelled in German, else it is a language i do not talk!)
Oh yes i also have a game from the Great Mikhail Tal. Actual i only found one game with him in my bried research. Even tho he lost that game.
Well there will not be a week til this video is uploaded, the only thing i need is a script.
I think that is all from here.
Greetings from Denmark.

First Publishment

Hi all.

I have after a couple of chess tournaments (one very good, and one very bad)
decided to try to keep a blog here, and also try to hold it up to date.
I of course hope to succed, but anyway this where mainly becourse of that i saw on http://www.youtube.com that they support this blogservice with videos even tho they have a limitation on 100Megas.
Hmm well i think that will do anyhow.
But to tell more about my tournaments, the first where a super succes, with 4 won and one draw in five games, the second, I think that my opening repetoire where somewhat worse in that tournament since i did get a lot worse score.
i got 4 lose and and victory and lost some rating, i think about 47, which is very bad since i consider my rating far under my strengh, but I must have played extremely bad in this tournament since i get so bad a start my score where
0 0 1 0 0
which is not very good.
I hope i will get videos done sometime soon.
But anyway i have not got much more to tell.
So by (atleast until my next blogpost.)
